Directions

From M1 travelling North - take J 35 and follow A 629 into Chapeltown. Go straight across 1st roundabout, at 2nd roundabout take the right hand fork - go up the hill, down the hill, up another hill and St. Saviour's church is about a mile on the right

From M1 travelling South - take J 36 (J 35A has no exit from S bound carriageway) - go right around the roundabout to A61 towards Sheffield. On reaching 1st roundabout (with Travel Inn and Mc Donalds) take 2nd exit following A61 to Sheffield. Go down the hill and as you start to go up turn left at the first crossroads to High Green - St. Saviour's church is about 1 mile straight down this road on the left hand side.

From Sheffield - follow A61 north, past Hillsborough Football Ground - continue for about another 4 miles, pass though countryside until you see a Jet petrol station situated ahead in the fork between A629 (left) and A61 (right). Bear right, still on on A61 and in 250m at top of hill, take the right hand turn into Thompson Hill. Follow the road down to the cross roads, turn right and St. Saviour's church is about 1/2 a mile down on the left.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT - train to Chapeltown station

PARKING - there is very limited parking on Mortomley Lane beside the church. We suggest that guests can park beyond the church by turning into Pack Horse Lane (see close up map) where there are various places to park.

FROM CHURCH TO RECEPTION - From the church travel north, uphill through High Green village along Wortley Road. When you reach the A61 main road there is a zig zag cross roads (difficult to cross at times with fast traffic both ways). Cross the A61 and take this road till you reach another main road. Turn right (this is the A629) and follow the road through Wortley village. The road takes a zig zag past Wortley church. Turn right into Hermit Hill Lane 100m past this zig zag and the Golf Club is 250m on the left. 

PARKING AT THE RECEPTION - Please park round the back of the Club House and as tidily as possible as the Golf Club will be fully functioning for members on 6th August.
